Well another year goes by, actually come to think of it another decade has just slipped us by. What a strange trip it has been, between the crazy elections, wars, celebrity deaths, and overall madness we had some pretty good music come our way. So without further delay here are some of the worst and best of 2009, and perhaps some last minute gift ideas for that music fanatic in your life. Thanks to all for the support and see you in 2010 in better spirits.

16Volt – American Porn Songs: Eric Powell’s follow up to ‘Full Black Habit’ was like a vicous left hook. This one was truly raw, dark, and enough crunch to crush those precious ear drums of your’s. Honestly I have not heard music anywhere near this caliber since the pinnacle days of Prong and Killing Joke. Eric brought back Steve White of KMFDM, Mike Peoples, and Jason Bazinet. This line up is the best to date for the band and has added a level of edge completely unseen in today’s world of music.
